in Melbourne, Australia, 13-17 August 2018. Past President George E. Harlow convened a MSA Centennial session entitled: "Mineralogy Past, Present, and Future: Preparing for the Next 100 Years of the Mineralogical Society of America" at the meeting. Barb Dutrow and Peter Heaney are co-conveners. Ten abstracts were submitted.

in Tucson, Arizona - 14-17 February 2019. MSA will have an case on the Main Exhbit Floor of items from MSA past, as well as a society booth on the Galleria Level.
MSA Centennial Symposium: The Next 100 Years of Mineral Sciences
MSA will hold a celebratory Centennial Symposium on June 20-21, 2019 at the Carnegie Institution for Science Building, located at 1530 P St NW, Washington, DC 20005. Fourteen theme colloquia will offer a vision for exciting new directions in mineralogy, geochemistry, and petrology as MSA begins its second century. Each theme colloquium will include two 20-minute presentations by invited speakers followed by 15 minutes of moderated audience discussion.

MSA Centennial Evening at the Smithsonian
A private evening reception in the Janet Anneberg Hooker Hall of Geology, Gems, and Minerals in the US National Museum of Natural History, Smithsonian Institution. Included in the registration. We thank the Gemological Institute of America for sponsoring this evening reception. 7-10 pm, Thursday, 20 June 2019.
