PACROFI IX will be held at the U.S. Geological Survey National Center in Reston, VA. The National Center is the John Wesley Powell Building, and more information about the building, its location, and directions to the building can be accessed via the following link:

The meeting will be located in the Dallas Peck Auditorium, which is directly adjacent to the USGS visitor’s entrance. The posters will be in a hallway adjacent to the auditorium. There are rooms reserved for short courses as well.

Reston, VA
Reston is a suburban town, located in Fairfax county, and is roughly 25 miles west of Washington, DC. The town has several hotels and restaurants, however very little is within walking distance of the USGS National Center. A large number of restaurants and a few hotels are clustered in the Reston Town Center, which is located approximately one mile north of the USGS National Center. There are several interesting attractions around Fairfax County, and Washington DC is accessible via mass transit or a short drive.
